Workspace Members
Workspace members are users who have access to a workspace and all of its projects. Managing members lets you control who can view and edit content within your workspace.
Inviting members
- Open the workspace and navigate to its member settings.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Click Invite. The person receives an email with a link to join.
Invited members show up with a pending status until they accept, at which point they become an acceptedmember with full access to the workspace and all its projects. Invitations count toward your workspace's member limit, which is based on your current plan, so you may need to remove an existing member or upgrade your plan before you can invite someone new.
Roles
Each member has a role, owner, admin, or a more limited role, that determines what they can do in the workspace. You can change a member's role at any time from the member list, though assigning someone the ownerrole requires the appropriate permission. The member who originally created the workspace keeps the owner role permanently, it can't be changed or removed by anyone else. See Workspace Permissions for a full breakdown of what each role can do.
Removing members
From the member list, select the member you want to remove and confirm. They will lose access to the workspace and all its projects immediately. Pending invitations that haven't been accepted yet can be cancelled the same way. Removing a member with the owner role requires the same permission needed to assign that role, and the workspace creator can never be removed.
Leaving a workspace
Any member can leave a workspace on their own, except the current owner, who must transfer ownership first. See Leaving a Workspace for details.
Workspace vs. Project members
Members added at the workspace level automatically have access to every project inside it. If you need finer control, for example, giving someone access to only one project, add them as a project member instead.
