Deleting a Project

Deleting a project permanently removes it along with everything inside it. This action cannot be undone, so make sure you no longer need any of the project's data before proceeding.

How to delete a project

  1. Open the workspace that contains the project and go to its Projects list.
  2. From the actions menu in the project's row, select Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Delete Project section at the bottom of the page and click Delete Project.

  1. In the confirmation dialog, type the project name exactly as shown to confirm the action.
  2. Click Delete Project to permanently delete it.

What happens when you delete

Deleting a project immediately and permanently removes:

  • All project members.
  • All documents stored in the project.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no way to recover a deleted project or its contents.

Who can delete

Only the workspace owner can delete a project within it. Project members, even those with the project's owner role, cannot perform this action. See Workspace Permissions for the full breakdown of who can do what.
