Workspace Domain Entitlements

Customer custom Workspace domains are an account-level subscription entitlement. The Workspace domain response supplies the server-owned effective limit and usage; these values are not inferred from a plan display name.

Plan limits

  • Personal / free: 0 customer custom Workspace domains.
  • Supporter: 1 customer custom Workspace domain.
  • Team: 3 customer custom Workspace domains.

Usage is counted across Workspaces owned by the subscribing account. First-party Workspace addresses are server-managed and do not consume a customer-domain slot. Pending, ready, suspended, removing, and over-limit states remain governed by the server lifecycle.

Separate from publishing domains

A customer custom Workspace domain routes a private Workspace and does not authorize members, bypass MFA, or configure a Project Publishing domain. For setup and DNS/SSL states, see Workspace Domains. For Project Publishing domains, see Project Custom Domains.

If effective subscription capacity drops, a hostname can remain configured but become suspended. Use the server-provided used/limit state and the available upgrade path; do not delete and re-add the hostname just to recover capacity.
