Account & Settings

Your account is where you manage your profile, preferences, and API access. This section covers everything related to your personal account settings, from updating your name and email to permanently deleting your account.

Accessing your account

Open the user menu in the application header and select your account to get to your profile, preferences, and API tokens. Each page in this section is scoped to you personally, changes here don't affect other members of your workspaces or projects.

Your profile

Your profile holds your given name, middle name, family name, company, country, and phone number, along with your sign-in details. How you update your email depends on how you sign in: password accounts can change it directly, while accounts linked to Google or GitHub need to unlink the provider first.

Preferences

Preferences control how the editor looks and behaves for you, including theme and font size. These settings are personal and don't affect what other members of your workspace see.

API tokens

API tokens let you authenticate programmatic requests to Zelares outside of the browser. Generate a token when you need to script or automate access, and revoke it any time it's no longer needed.

Deleting your account

If you need to leave Zelares for good, you can permanently delete your account. This requires leaving all workspaces and projects first, and the action can't be undone once submitted.
